Dr. Jennifer Walden is one of the few female board certified plastic surgeons in Texas who received formal fellowship training in cosmetic surgery. She was born and raised in Northwest Hills, a suburb outside of Austin. Her interest in women’s health issues relating to self-empowerment led her to begin her medical training after high school. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she obtained Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Biology. She later received the medical doctorate as a salutatorian at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She was elected president of the Texas Alpha Chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then began her externship at the prestigious Plastic Surgery Associates in Miami.
After receiving her residency training, Dr. Jennifer Walden moved to New York to pursue her interest in aesthetic plastic surgery. There, she acquired the knowledge and expertise in this field while pursuing her fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. She served as the Program Director of the hospital before relocating back to Austin. After her fellowship, she worked with the world famous aesthetic plastic surgeon, Dr. Sherrell Aston, as an associate.
With the integration of the specialized clinical knowledge and the cutting edge technology, Dr. Walden performs all kinds of procedures to improve her patients’ appearances. She specializes mainly in the aesthetic plastic surgery relating to face, breast, and skin. She uses the latest, innovative technology to perform common procedures such as breast augmentation, liposuction, and facelift. Her practice performs other procedures such as hair restoration which shows that they appeal to the diverse needs of patients who want to enhance their appearances.
