Robert Ivy well knows for his famous publication Fay Jones: Architect that he wrote in the year 2011 and has been published severally is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the American Institute of Architects. Robert Ivy also wrote several records that were published by China, Sweets, HQ Magazine, ENR, and Constructor.

has been honored by National Magazines Award for his excellence in the Architectural Record, Crain Award in 2009, Alpha Rho Chi,2010 and many other organizations. He has been awarded for his excellent management skills and general achievements of the companies he has headed.
